چکیده

Abstract With the aim to solve time-dependent Schr ̈odinger equation associated a non-Hermitian Hamiltonian, we introduce unitary transformation that maps Hamiltonian time-independent PT -symmetric one. Consequently, solution of Schrödinger becomes easily deduced and evolution preserves C ( t ) -inner product, where is obtained from charge conjugation operator through time dependent transformation. Moreover, expectation value in normed states guaranteed be real. As an illustration, present specific quantum system given by oscillator with mass subjected driving linear complex potential.

Gauging non-Hermitian Hamiltonians

We address the problem of coupling non-Hermitian systems, treated as fundamental rather than effective theories, to the electromagnetic field. In such theories the observables are not the x and p appearing in the Hamiltonian, but quantities X and P constructed by means of the metric operator. Following the analogous procedure of gauging a global symmetry in Hermitian quantum mechanics we find t...

Time-dependent quasi-Hermitian Hamiltonians and the unitary quantum evolution

We show that the consequences of an introduction of a manifest time-dependence in a pseudo-Hermitian Hamiltonian H = H(t) are by far less drastic than suggested by A. Mostafazadeh in Phys. Lett. B 650 (2007) 208 (arXiv:0706.1872v2 [quant-ph]). In particular, the unitarity of the evolution does not necessitate the time-independence of the metric η+ = η+(t). PACS number: 03.65.-w

Real Spectra in Non-Hermitian Hamiltonians Having P T Symmetry

The condition of self-adjointness ensures that the eigenvalues of a Hamiltonian are real and bounded below. Replacing this condition by the weaker condition of P T symmetry, one obtains new infinite classes of complex Hamiltonians whose spectra are also real and positive. These P T symmetric theories may be viewed as analytic continuations of conventional theories from real to complex phase spa...

Non-Hermitian time-dependent quantum systems with real energies

In this work we intend to study a class of time-dependent quantum systems with nonHermitian Hamiltonians, particularly those whose Hermitian counterpart are important for the comprehension of posed problems in quantum optics and quantum chemistry, which consists of an oscillator with time-dependent mass and frequency under the action of a time-dependent imaginary potential. The propagator for a...

Linear Quantum Entropy and Non-Hermitian Hamiltonians

We consider the description of open quantum systems with probability sinks (or sources) in terms of general non-Hermitian Hamiltonians. Within such a framework, we study novel possible definitions of the quantum linear entropy as an indicator of the flow of information during the dynamics. Such linear entropy functionals are necessary in the case of a partially Wigner-transformed non-Hermitian ...
